Popims Infinity is a new tool that enables printing coded image at low resolution (a resolution which is close to the one of the lenses) to produce powerful 3D animations with cylindrical or spherical lenses.
A noticeable point is that the effect works even when lenses are spaced apart, which is often the case when one wants to use very thin printing substrates (e.g. around 2 mils or 10µ).

Just as for the "moiré", this techniques enables using a coded image composed of dots that have a size close to the one of the lenses, which makes them easy to print, but there are two major differences with this well known natural effect: these dots are all different one from another, and distances between points are not constant.
Applications are numerous, especially in the security printing business (banknote paper, official documents, credit cards, brand protection, tickets, diplomas, certificates, etc.), but also for communication, packaging and decoration.
