Aimed primarily at packaging printers, and general news printers, Popims LensPrinter technology allows 3D and animations printing selectively on conventional materials.

• Animation printing allows for example hair changing color on a coloration product boxes, a woman could slim on a diet product, a laughing cow could winks… Blinking messages is also affordable like « low fat » or « on sale »…
• Printing 3D gives the impression that the product sort of floats in the air making it more attractive. The goal is to be able to print every type of effects from the basis 3D moiré to a complete 3D scene from a movie for example.

The main difference with previous art is that all theses effects are created using only printing techniques, on classical cheap substrate.

The technology is a multi layers printing techniques using multiple kinds of transparent inks that reticulate into spherical lenses. It allows to print selective lenticular on almost any type of product: labels, boxes, press covers…
